Mateo and the Number Race

Mateo was a bright blue car who loved numbers! Every morning, he zoomed around his town, counting all the fun things he could see. One sunny day, Mateo decided to race to Numberville to see how many numbers he could find along the way.

As Mateo started his journey, he noticed 1 yellow butterfly flying by. “Hi, Butterfly One!” he beeped happily. A little further down the road, Mateo spotted 2 white birds sitting on a fence. “Hello, Birds Two!” Mateo honked as he zoomed past.

Vroom! Mateo saw 3 shiny green mailboxes in a row by the sidewalk. “Look at you, Mailboxes Three! So neat and green!” he said. Then, as Mateo turned another corner, he noticed 4 red flowers blooming in the sunshine. “Flowers Four, you look beautiful today!” Mateo beeped excitedly.

Finally, Mateo made it to the park in Numberville. There, he spotted 5 tall trees stretching up to the sky. “Wow, Trees Five! You’re so big and strong!” Mateo honked, feeling proud. He had counted all the way to 5 and made so many new friends along the way.

With a happy smile, Mateo turned around and zoomed home, excited to tell his friends all about his fun day with numbers.
